The Bohler FOX EV50 Basic covered low hydrogen 7018 electrode with good welding characteristics, including out of position work, excellent strength and toughness properties down to minus 50 degrees.
- Good weldability in all positions except for vertical down and good impact ties down to 45°C
- CTOD tested at minus 10 °C and shows good resistance crack propagation.
