Key types of stainless steel TIG filler rod

• 308L: Suitable for welding stainless grade 18/8, 304, austenitic steels. Has good corrosion resistance.
• 309L: Designed for welding stainless steel to mild steel and low alloyed steels and offers the opportunity to lay buffer layers. Called a dissimilar & gives great corrosion resistance.
• 310: For welding heat resistant austenitic steels akin to 25Cr-20Ni. Provides excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures.
• 316L: Perfect for welding low carbon & Cr-Ni steels, 316 type material. Offers a mirror like finish.
