7018 & 7016 LOW HYDROGEN WELDING RODS
Low hydrogen electrodes are suitable for structural & high integrity welding of high strength steels. Offering good mechanical properties, at low temperatures in particular, low hydrogen levels help prevent cracking. 7018 & 7016 electrodes produce strong, low spatter welds with pleasing bead appearance and offer a smooth stable arc. The key advantage is reduced post weld clean up.
Low hydrogen rods are prone to moisture absorption and must be kept in warm environment or re-baked in a drying oven.
